Dover Downright Depressing...

Start - 4th | Competitors - 17| High - 4th | Low - 16th | Finish - 16th

Another week of woes faced the AMSOIL Team as a strong practice run and stellar starting spot was all that was in store. Right from the drop of the green flag it was clear that something was wrong. The car which was free and fast in practice started out tight and just wouldn't turn. Within twelve laps the car that felt stout in practice was one lap down. Running as steady as possible and begging for a caution, Kevin held out as long as possible.

The yellow finally fell and there was an opportunity to get some fresh tires and try to make it back to the lead lap. Unfortunately an over eager driver broke the tires loose on the restart and found himself sitting backwards under the starter resulting in caution number two. From then on the car wasn't up to speed and Kevin yeiled to lead lap cars and tried to find the speed. Frustrated and off the pace, Kevin parked the ill handling car just before the lead lap cars came around again.
