The AMSOIL Driver was on vacation during the running of the Sears Point race. To ensure the most points possible, Kevin logged on, ran a couple of laps and signed off.
Kevin Inglin, the pilot of the AMSOIL Chevy had this to say after the run:
I had high hopes of running the race but the computer available to me was not up to par for racing the game. The video was lagging behind the action and I couldn't keep the car on the track. I made two laps, slammed the barrier, damaged the car and called it a night. It was clear that the conditions weren't conducive to racing and I didn't want get in someone's way so I called it a night.
I was looking forward to this race as I learned a couple of things last year from my teammate Dean Moll that helped tremendously but it wasn't to be. I'm in Florida now and will be taking in the Pepsi 400 live. I plan on making the trek back to New Jersey next week and should be back in time to run the Lightning Daytona Firecracker race.
