Short and simple, the spring race at Pocono wasn't kind this year. The first segment yielded a driver who struggled with the setup, couldn't find speed and was a lap down before the first pitstop fell. Riding around a 2.5 mile triangle more than one second off the pace leads to a long night. Finished 11th off the pace and dejected.
Kevin Inglin, the pilot of the AMSOIL Chevy had this to say after the run:
"Without a doubt we're going to have to do our homework for next time. We're struggling to hold that top ten standing for the chase to the championship and we're going to sharpen our pencils and get to work. Next week we head off to Loudon (Remember that this race was postponed) and our AMSOIL Chevy is going to be fast. I'm going to head into the hauler, get changed and head home to ponder why we were so bad here. I guarantee we'll be better when we come back here in July. "
